How to draw a realistic eyes

How to draw a realistic  eyes

Welcome to my new blog which is related to eyes sketching . so lets get started Eyes are organs of the visual system. They provide animals with vision, the ability to receive and process visual detail, as well as enabling several photo response functions that are independent of vision.

it is my first tutorial  , I hope you will like my tips

Material you need
For this tutorial on drawing a realistic eye, I will be using the following tools: –
  •  Mechanical Pencil with 0.5 mm HB and 4B Ain Leads –
  •  Derwent Graphic 6B Pencil –
  • Kneaded Eraser –
  • Blending Stump
  •  Smooth Bristol Paper

Lets begin

Outline the eye shape and highlight it

lets start our eye sketch with HB pencil . it should not be to dark or too light . we just need to sketch the basic shape of eye. you need to sketch a square shape in the eye lens. outline it it will reflect some source of light thorough some sort of window pane or some mirror reflection in the eye . Directly we can say it will looks as like a glance of something.
You can also use other shapes like rectangle as well .

2. Shade the pupil

In this shading step you need to slightly shade the sides of the pupil .  For this purpose use 6B pencil tool . you need to avoid shading too hard . it will be difcult for you to erase . now you can shade the area where it need to bs darkest in the eye and shade lightly where it need to be less shade

3. Shade the Isis

Now all you need is to move to the next step which is iris shading . for making your eye realistic  slightly shade the iris . now you  will use the outer area of the pupil . make sure your  eye is sumdge  it will give your eye more depth .

4.Draw spokes

move forward and draw some outward spokes the the eye . now over lap  spokes  to make thicker lines .Don't overlap all spokes leave some spokes untouched . it might look intersting

5. Blend the iris and add some depth

Now its time to enhance your eye by using Blanding stumps . use the blending stumps wisely . blend where it is required. over use of stumps make your depth outlines disappear .
do more detailing add some depth in your work  by using 6B pencil

6. Skin shading

Shade the skin around the eye use 4B pencil for shading the eye bone, low lash area and inner corner of the eye .

7.Draw eye lashes

Last but not the least , now all you need to draw outward curves for eyelashes use 6B pencil for this purpose .

Touch up all your work again to make sure you have done .
